The Insulclad Rendered Wall System addresses the needs of today's environmentally-conscious builder whilst providing freedom in design, reduced building costs, and reduced construction time, while also providing savings in energy costs for the life of the building. Building or renovating with the Insulclad Rendered Wall System for exterior walls will create an energy-efficient building that provides a significant reduction in energy needed for heating and cooling.
The expanded polystyrene base material of the Insulclad Rendered Wall System is manufactured with a fire retardant for added protection. Furthermore, the Insulclad Rendered Wall System has recently undergone and passed the bushfire resistance test of an external wall system in accordance with AS1530.8.1- 2007, receiving a BAL-29 rating.
The Insulclad Rendered Wall System has been engineered to meet all wind loads required in the building code from N1 to N4 in accordance with AS4005.
The inclusion of window flashing installation, and joint and penetration sealant processes in the Insulclad Rendered Wall System ensures a weather- tight envelope, even before the application of the render. To achieve the best performance, thermal bridging, weather tightness and therefore air tightness, the potential of moisture penetration must be addressed when considering the design of the external envelope of a building.
The Insulclad Rendered Wall System is Green Star compliant. The manufacture of EPS comprises of 98% air, resulting in the efficient use of raw material. And energy consumed in the manufacture of Insulclad is offset by energy saved through creating carbon neutral homes.
Light in weight and easy to install, the Insulclad Rendered Wall System requires less energy and transportation than traditional cladding systems meaning there are less emissions produced during the construction process. And the EPS core of our Insulclad panels is 100% recyclable, leading to less waste on site.
The insulation properties and thermal performance of the Insulclad Rendered Wall System contributes to the highest energy efficient rating requirements. Less reliance on heating and cooling appliances means an energy efficient home produces less greenhouse gas emissions.
