In 2020, Foamex Polystyrene Pty Ltd commissioned Exova Warringtonfire to undertake BAL conformance testing of the Insulclad Rendered Wall System. Exova Warringtonfire, a NATA accredited testing authority specialising in BAL testing and certification, tested the Insulclad Rendered Wall System and found that it passed the bushfire resistence test of an external wall system in accordance with AS1530.8.1:2007 (Bushfire Attack Level).
The BAL-29 accreditation for the Insulclad Rendered Wall System is for compliance with a complete wall system comprising of the following:

The Insulclad Rendered Wall System with breathable, non-reflective wall wrap and 10mm plasterboard lining achieves total R-Values in accordance with AS/NZs 4859.1:20018
