Below are the recommended renders and textures approved for use with the

Insulclad Rendered Wall System.

These products form part of our CodeMark Certified System and should be used in accordance with the Insulclad Rendered Wall System Construction Drawings, which can be found in our Technical section.

A polymer modified cement based render.

Insulclad Base Render Plus has been specially formulated to enhance adhesion and water resistance properties. It provides a special bond between the polystyrene panel, fibreglass reinforcing mesh and the finish renders. 


Insulclad Base Render Plus can be used as:

  • A base coat render on Insulclad Core Panel polystyrene system or,
  • Joint patching on the Insulclad Pre-Mesh Panel polystyrene system when mixed with Insulclad Joint Patch and Primer Additive.
  • A base coat for blue board, Hebel, brick or block work, and other masonry substrates.

Fast curing, pre-blended, polymer modified cement based render.

ER 100 is a multipurpose, acrylic render that boasts superior Strength. Its unique formulation allows it to be applied up to 10mm with no sagging or cracking.

A ready mixed, flexible acrylic coating.

Ideal for covering and decorating suitably prepared interior or exterior surfaces, Novatex Valencia features an attractive subtle granular texture finish suitable for modern construction while maintaining a traditional look. 


Valencia is a pre blended, acrylic texture that boasts superior trowel ability and its unique formulations allows easy trowelability.

A pre-blended polymer-modified cement render.

Rockcote Quick Render PM100 has been formulated for use over expanded polystyrene walling systems, and exhibits minimal drying shrinkage. Areliable surface for over-coating with approved acrylic textures and paints.

A highly adhesive primer for all substrates that require a sand based primer.

Rockcote Texprime is suitable for use on various smooth surfaces and can be tinted to a wide range of colours. Ideal as a primer for use with Rockcote coloured renders and textures.

A coloured render that delivers water repellency.

Sandcote Hydratech from Rockcote is a new generation Sandcote with water repellency embedded into the chemical composition of the coating, delivering a hydrophobic system. It is an attractive and natural coloured render that uses the inherent beauty of mineral sands and aggregates to produce a natural, but stylishly modern texture finish.

A high quality pre-mixed Render designed for a thin section cement rendering.

Ezycoat ECA is an easy to use, single step, polymer modified render that only requires the addition of water to produce a render with excellent adhesion & tensile properties. Suitable for application to polystyrene cladding systems, ECA Render consists of finely graded quartz sand, the latest in polymer additives, and Portland cement (AS 3972). 


The addition of higher concentration of polymer and stabilised powders enhance performance and improve adhesion, flexibility and application, whilst providing water repellent properties.

A pre-blended acrylic texture finish.

Ezycoat Sand 800 is an acrylic texture finish that consists of a coarse grade of quartz fillers and marble mixed with binders integrated with in a mixture of acrylic emulsion and pigments. A decorative granular finish ideal for use over a variety cladding systems, Ezycoat Sand 800 is a one part product that once mixed is ready for immediate use straight from the pail.

A hard wearing durable paint system designed to protect interior and exterior masonry wall surfaces.

Ezycoat Membrane is a hard wearing durable & flexible paint system specifically designed to protect interior and exterior masonry wall surfaces. It has a thicken creamy consistency that when applied allows it to create an extra thick protective coating to the surface.


Unlike many external paint finishes that tend to leave roll marks and cut in lines, Ezycoat Membrane when applied to specification will not accentuate these properties; instead provide a seamless finish to the surface.
